I was recently introduced to the music of a Canadian Duet, Vocals and Acoustic Guitar. I thought it would be nice to share this with the visitors to this guitar blog site. The vocalist is Johanna Sillan and the Acoustic Guitar Player is Aaron Young and they are performing Live at Beatniq Jazz & Social Club. I am temporarily reminded of Tuck and Patty, another phenomenal duet. The tunes are Castles Made of Sand and Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix. This is really worth watching

Excellent, this is what musicians should be doing… not playing a cover song note for note, you are supposed to add your own touch and feel to the songs, which makes it unique to you as a player, but stay within the boundaries of the song, and still make it reconizable.
