Here’s a youtube of the legendary guitarist called Clarence White, he was a member of the Byrds, the Flying Burrito Brothers. The tunes are called I am a Pilgrim and Soldiers Joy, both are standard tunes in the Bluegrass repertoire. Clarence played a Martin D28 from 1935, it is now owned by the great Tony Rice a player of contemporary bluebrass (New Grass) and Bluegrass. Clarence also played on some of the early Monkees tunes. He unfortunately died in 1973, he is remembered with great respect by many guitar players across the world, his beuatiful guitar playing will live on.

I knew he played with the Byrds and the Kentucky Colonels but never saw his name on any of the Flying Burritos stuff.
Clarence was the final word in bluegrass flatpicking. We shall never see his like again. R.I.P.
