Mark

I have quite a few of these that I use, I learnt them at 17 when I studied with a ver good Australian jazz player, he also recorded with Grapelli. They sort of stuck and if I was in a hurry they'd always do the job.

I read that when they were doing acoustic duets, Coryell and Catherine used to play in the limo/car on the way to a concert but eventually they had to ease up a little because they'd over play and be left empty before the concert.

I find I don't like to play too much during the day if I'm playing that night, it's very easy to empty yourself and music comes in waves, is not constant.
